How do I Lock/Unlock My Bag?
Standard Lock
Instructions to Unlock and Lock Bag
Unlock
- Pull the zipper tab away from the lock to open the bag and take out the keys located inside.
- Keep the keys outside of the bag before continuing locking the bag.
- Insert one of the keys into the lock, turn the key clockwise until the lock pops up (a quarter turn).
- Bag is now unlocked. Remove key from lock.
Lock
- Pull the zipper tab tight against the base of the lock.
- Rotate the lock counterclockwise a quarter turn. Lock should be aligned and covering about half of the zipper.
- Push down lock over zipper unit it clicks into place.
- Pull on the zipper tab to make sure the bag is locked.
Combination/Keyed Lock (Key is removable when open – 5 pin lock)
What is the difference between the lock types you offer?
Standard Keyed Alike
– Think of this key as the key to your house. Imagine you have a front door, a back door, and a garage door leading to the inside your house. One key will be able to unlock all of these doors.
Standard Keyed Different
– Imagine you are in a neighborhood with multiple houses for this type of key. Each home owner will have their own key to open the doors to their house. No one will have the same key as you.
Standard Keyed Master Lock
– Now think of an apartment complex as the Landlord. Each tenant has their own key to their apartment and is only able to use their key on their door. You will have a Master Key that is able to unlock all of the doors.
Combination/Keyed Alike
– Each lock operates with the use of a combination or set of keys. The lock can be used with EITHER option. The combination is factory preset at 0-0-0. The lock is Keyed Alike. The user can set and reset the combination as needed.

Could you explain the different Fabric offered for the bags?
1000 Denier or 1350 Basket Weave Nylon
A high-performance fabric resistant to abrasions, tears, scuffs and punctures. 1000 Denier and 1350 Basket Weave Nylon is the industry standard for maximum durability and has a water repellent urethane coating. Fabric can be silk-screened imprinted or embroidered. 1000 Denier is available in 15 colors choices. 1350 Basket Weave Nylon is available in 2 color choices.
Canvas 10 oz. or 14 oz.
Available in 10 oz. and 14 oz. weight. Rugged cotton canvas is extremely durable. Its rigid construction is designed for everyday use. Fabric used in all bag styles. Fabric can be silk-screened imprinted or embroidered. Canvas is available in 16 color choices.
Laminated Nylon
3-ply construction of 70-denier fabric coated with poly-vinyl that repels water and has cotton twill backing. Provides great strength and is more puncture resistant than standard nylon. Fabric used in all bag styles. Fabric can be silk-screen imprinted or embroidered.

600 x 300 Denier Polyester Cloth
A very popular item with its texturized yarns and matching back. 600×300 Denier Polyester Cloth is a medium-weight polyester fabric. This versatile material has a durable 0.55mm PVC backing and is commonly used for zipper wallet and transit bags. Fabric can be silk-screen imprinted or embroidered. Denier Polyester Cloth is available in 8 color choices.
Expanded Vinyl
Expandable fabric with vinyl coating and leather-like grain. Easy to clean. Most commonly used in zipper wallets. Fabric can be silk-screen imprinted. Expanded Vinyl is available in 11 color choices.
200 Denier Nylon
200-denier fabric with waterproof poly-vinyl coating is extremely lightweight yet sturdy. Most commonly used for transit bags. Fabric can be silk-screen imprinted. 200 Denier Nylon is available in 18 color choices.
What is In Stock compared to Made to Order?
In Stock and Made to Order products are found within each dropdown menu category and are in red text.
In Stock
- In Stock bags are already made and are limited by quantity.
- For orders of 20 bags or less: Bags will ship in 2 to 5 business days from when the order is placed.
- Large orders of In Stock bags (21 or more) require additional production and extended ship time.
- Expedited shipping is an option available for all orders received before 12PM CST and will ship in 1-2 business days.
Made to Order
- Made to Order bags are produced from scratch when order is placed. Choose from our available colors, materials, sizes and/or locks.
- Made to Order bags are NOT returnable.
- For orders of 20 or less Made to Order bags: Bag(s) will ship in approximately 14-21 business days because the bags will be made from scratch with the options chosen.
- For orders of 21 or more Made to Order bags: Production time extends to typically 4-6 business weeks.
- For orders of 20 bags or less with Made to Order Custom Imprinting: Bag(s) will ship in approximately 4-6 business weeks. Production of the custom imprinting bag(s) does NOT start until the artwork has been approved! Once the artwork has been approved, production of the bag(s) will commence.
- Made to Order and Custom Imprinting products cannot be canceled after 2-3 days from when the order was placed as it is already in production. If canceled after 2-3 days, you will be charged for a percentage of the total order placed, and that amount will be deducted from your refund.

I would like to return a purchase. What do I do?
Return Policy
Made to Order or Custom Imprinting product sales are considered FINAL; returns of any Made to Order product(s) are determined on a case-by-case scenario.
- Returns must be made within 30 days of date of purchase.
- Merchandise must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect.
- Custom imprinted product(s) are not accepted for return under any circumstance.
- PMS color matching is not accepted as a return reason on imprinted product(s) or fabric color.
- Color variations exist from fabric dye lots over the course of time and available suppliers.
- Merchandise that has been damaged, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.
- Cardinal Bag Supplies reserves the right to refuse return request if these conditions have not been met.
Restocking Fee
- All items are subject to a 10-20% restocking fee that will be deducted from refund. Original shipping and handling paid on the order is not refunded.
Exchanges
- In Stock Products ONLY: If product(s) are in new condition, bags can be exchanged for a different in stock product in a different size, style, fabric or color. The restocking fee will be waived in this case. The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping fee and the shipping fee for the new product(s).
How To Return a Product
1. Fill out the Returns Form (https://cardinalbagsupplies.com/rma-form/) and submit.
2. Print a copy of the Returns Form to include with the product(s) being returned (PDF is sent to the email address provided on the Returns Form).
3. Package up the return product(s) and include the printed Returns Form.
4. Take package to a shipping carrier of your choice addressed to the address shown below. Package should be insured with tracking for a safe documented delivery.

How are your bags rated to 2500 degrees Fahrenheit (F)?
The Silica Cloth we use has a combustion rate of 2500 degrees F. This means the silica cloth doesn’t catch fire until the temperature is 2500 degrees F.
We have tested our bags in several conditions to observe their performance. We have not UL rated the bags because we offer customization on any bag. Any alterations or customization nullifies the UL rating. We have chosen not to publish a stated burn rate (i.e. 1500 degrees for 15 minutes, etc). Most of these claims are not substantiated or variations in fire conditions void the claims.
Please understand ANY type of fire resistant or fire proof product does not prevent convection (heating) of contents within a bag or safe. Most damage from fires to fire resistant products comes in the form of convection within the container. When the contents within any fire resistant container reach their autoignition point, the contents start on fire.
For example, the autoignition point for paper is 424 – 475 degrees F. For paper, there is considerable variation between sources, mainly because there are many physical variables with different kinds of paper, like thickness, density and composition; in addition, it takes longer for the combustion of paper to start at lower temperatures.
We provide this information not to be vague but to explain the variables to consider in purchasing a fire resistant product from us or anyone else.
What are Made to Order Custom Imprinted bags? What is the production time? What are the imprint requirements?
We offer imprinting on all Made to Order bags. Select from logo, text or logo & text from the dropdown menu on any Made to Order bag.
FREE one-color one bag type imprint on bulk orders over $900.
$90 for one-color text, logo or combination of both PER BAG TYPE. All screens are a one-time use! We do not save any screens! The $90 screen charge will be charged every time an order is placed with imprinting regardless of if you have ordered from us before.
We require a black/white logo that is a high-resolution digital file of at least 300 DPI (dots per inch) for best quality. File formats that are accepted are JPG, PNG, PDF, with a maximum file size of 50 MB. Once logo is uploaded and order is placed, we will send an email with the artwork that must be approved before production is scheduled for the order. Production is scheduled ONLY upon approval of the artwork.
For orders of 20 bags or less with Made to Order Custom Imprinting: Bag(s) will ship in approximately 4-6 business weeks. Production of the custom imprinting bag(s) does NOT start until the artwork has been approved! Once artwork has been approved, production of the bag(s) will commence.

Can I cancel or make a change to my order after it has been placed?

My package shows delivered, but it’s not here.
If your order’s tracking information indicates a confirmed delivery, but you haven’t received the package, please file a lost/stolen package claim with the carrier. All additional questions pertaining to the package or delivery should be communicated to the carrier.
Do you offer a discount for non-profit organizations, grant programs or government facilities?
We do not offer additional discounts for these organizations.
Cardinal Bag Supplies remains consistent with pricing and bulk discounts as presented on our site to stay in ethical pricing standards for our program partners. What we have done to further purchasing power is not raise our prices in the last five years. We feel this has been a positive thing for our buying community because they tend to purchase year after year.
