Lock Types

All our lock options come with 2 keys Attached standard pop-up lock descriptions: Standard Keyed Alike – Each lock for the bag has the same serial number. The serial numbers being alike means the set of keys you get for the bag can work on all the bags. The locks are all keyed alike. Best used in situations where multiple bags are purchased and the need to secure the bags individually isn’t important. Standard Keyed Different – Each lock for the bag has a different serial number. The serial numbers being different means the set of keys you get for the bag ONLY works for that bag. The locks are all keyed different. Best used in situations where individual bags are purchased. Or The individual bag is the responsibility of an individual user. Standard Keyed Master Lock – Each lock for the bag has a different serial number and the lock has a master key to open multiple bags in a series. The locks are all keyed different and a master key can open all bags. Best used in situations where multiple bags are purchased and a center location needs to open the bag by using a master key. It eliminates the need to find individual keys for each bag. Attached combination/keyed pop-up lock descriptions: Combination/Keyed Alike – Each lock operates with the use of a combination or set of keys. The lock can be used with EITHER option. The lock has the same serial number in a series of bags purchased. The lock is keyed alike. The lock is factory preset at 0-0-0. The user can set and re-set the combination as needed. Best used in situations where multiple bags are purchased requiring the same keys to open all locks, however, an individual user can set a personal combination.
